Not-for-Sale (NFS) Compliance Dashboard
- •Designed and operated a compliance monitoring system for medicines flagged as Not-for-Sale across Tata 1MG's national network of fulfillment centres (FCs) and large format centres (LFCs).
- •The system used metabase queries to identify new NFS SKUs, generate monthly reports, and trigger removal across relevant inventory locations.
- •Collaborated with warehouse operations, catalog, and compliance teams.
The Challenge
- NFS medicines were being added to the platform through normal SKU onboarding flows with no dedicated compliance gate.
- National scale: flagged SKUs needed to be communicated to and removed from multiple fulfillment centres and retail locations simultaneously.
The Approach
- Built a metabase query to automatically flag NFS SKUs from the platform database on a monthly basis.
- Designed a structured report and communication workflow to distribute flags to all relevant fulfillment centres and LFCs.
- Established a monthly review cadence with the compliance team.
Results
Up to 200 NFS SKUs identified and removed per month at peak.
Consistent monthly compliance monitoring cycle established and maintained.
National fulfillment centre network kept informed of NFS status changes through structured communication.
