The Challenge

  • CNS drugs and other abuse-potential medicines have state-specific regulatory restrictions that could not be handled by a blanket national policy.
  • Platform-side restrictions needed to be enforced at the pin code level — requiring granular geolocation logic in the ordering flow.
  • Warehouse-level controls required operational redesign.

  • Defined the restriction logic for 70 salts across state and pin code dimensions.
  • Implemented maximum unit-per-order caps for high-risk drugs at the user level.
  • Designed warehouse access control protocols — restricting physical dispensing of high-risk medicines to designated authorised staff.
